Blackjack Rules for Dealers

Blackjack Rules for Dealers

Nowadays, Blackjack is the most arguable casino card game in the world. Regards to its popularity, some people still have difficulties understanding the blackjack rules for dealers. When playing as the dealer you must always remember to face-down when your card is turned up. If the total is 17 or more, your card must stand. If the total is 16 or under, they must take a card. The dealer must continue to take cards until the total is 17 or more, at which point the dealer must stand. If the dealer has an ace, and counting it as 11 would bring the total to 17 or more (but not over 21), the dealer must count the ace as 11 and stand. The dealer’s decisions, then, are automatic on all plays, whereas the player always has the option of taking one or more cards.

Things you need to know before dealing the card

Remember start when you’re ready. Don’t act too fast. There are some important a dealer must follow before dealing the cards to every player. Dealers must shuffle the cards before dealing with the players. If there are several players in the game, dealers can try to combine two or more decks of cards together.

After that, you must make sure that every player had done to place their bet before you started to deal with the cards. When the dealer had started to deal with the first card, players are not allowed to place the bet anymore unless they decide to split their hand into two or double down.

The strategy of Dealing Cards

First, dealers will deal with every player a card by facing down and it should be dealt from the dealer’s left side to the right side until the dealer’s own side only consider the end. Then, continue to deal with the second card which is facing up to every player too.

After that, it is the turn of the dealer to deal with the final card. This card must be face up. If this final card is an Ace, dealers need to ask the players whether they want to buy insurance. If they want, they must buy half of their original bet then dealers will open up their second card and see whether had a Blackjack.

Dealers get to collect the bets from the players who didn’t buy the insurance if dealers get the Blackjack. In contrast, players who had Blackjack but didn’t buy the insurance will only get back their original bets while players who buy insurance but don’t have Blackjack also will get back their original bets.

Players’ Side

The game to continue playing as normal if the dealers’ face-up card is not an Ace. At the same time, players can either stand or hit when is their turn.

If the player draws the cards until the value of the card exceeds 21, is consider bust, then dealers can collect their bet and move on to the next player. Dealers will need to pay the players with a 3:2 bonus if the players get the Blackjack at their first hand.

When the player tries to increase the bet, dealers need to deal with a new face-up card to them whereas the players who decide to double down only can receive a new card but can’t continue hitting. Other than that, if the players split their hand and also match their original bet, dealers need to deal with two face-down cards for them as one card for each hand. If the players had Blackjack in both split hands, they will be paid with 1:1 odds rather than typical 3:2 paid.

Dealers’ Side

After every player’s turn had finished, then is dealers’ turn. Dealers need to turn over their face down cards. If the total card value of dealers is 16 or less, then they should deal with them another new card and make the total card value until 17 or more.

In contrast, if the total card value is 17 or more, please don’t deal with any cards. If dealers’ hand only had two cards and one card is an Ace, they should be counted as 11 but if already 21, please count as 1 as normal.

If the dealers’ hand had exceeded 21, mean the dealers’ had bust and other remaining players win and get paid from the dealers. If the dealers’ card value hasn’t bust but some players had a higher value than the dealers, so they also will get paid from the dealers except the players who had the lower value than the dealers can’t get any paid. This is blackjack rules for dealers.
